The School of Simple Living
Our mission is to reconnect you and nature.
Since 2020, on World Environment Day (5 June) under the banner of School Of Simple Living, CGBMT has organized close to 35 eco-educational talk series involving the 5 faculties of nature and the environmental issues they face in the present day scenario in order to achieve the UN –SDG goals. The talks are moderated by our founder and include leading experts in each field.
Over 70,000 people from around the world representing close to 700 institutions have attended the talks so far.
SimpleTalks/Sadharan Baten
From recent events alone it is clear that we are not separate from nature. We must learn to respect this and work WITH nature and NOT against her. In light of the COVID-19 global pandemic, we must push to build our collective immunity through healthy lifestyles and a healthier built environment – with clean air, clean water, and a better quality of life for EVERYONE.
To understand the needs of humankind and devise solutions that work in harmony with nature, CGBMT looks back to the fundamentals of the 5 elements: Earth, Fire, Air, Water, and Space. Through addressing our relationship to these elements we begin to see a clearer picture of what development post-lockdown can look like.
CGBMT’s School of Simple Living builds on these themes through webinars, workshops, talks, and projects. Together with the campaign, we started an eco-educational talk series – titled ”Simple Talks -Sadharan Baten", involving the 5 faculties of nature, and the environmental issues they face in the present-day scenario in order to achieve the UN –SDG goals.
